Women Who Pray
Dr. Evangelist Hood - is the Founder of Women Who Pray National & International Intercessory Prayer Ministries, founded September 1997, in Federal Way, WA. She is a member of Faith Deliverance Assembly A.O. H. Church of God, Inc., located in SeaTac, WA, where she serves under the leadership of the Honorable Bishop Dr. Lawrence E. and Williams, Pastor and Presiding-Prelate of the AOH-Apostolic Overcoming Holy Churches of God.
Dr. Evangelist Hood - is the Widow of the late Deacon-Trustee Lawrence O. Hood; and the proud mother of three adult children and five grandchildren. She is an Ordained Elder/Evangelist and Ministerial Staff Board Member; and currently serves as the Women’s Department-President, Social Services-Director, Ex-Offenders Community Outreach-Programs Coordinator and the Hospitality Committee-President. She was previous appointed to various other Leadership roles in the church.
Dr. Evangelist Hood - professional career expands over Thirty-plus years in the Social & Human Services profession. She has a Liberal Arts Bachelor Undergraduate degree, with an emphasis in Human Services and an M.A.Ed. Graduate degree in Education.
Dr. Evangelist Hood - is an author of a presently unpublished book entitled; “Church Hurts ~ Healing Through Prayer.” God gave her this book especially for the body of Christ, and for those who has experienced Church-Wounds and Hurts. This book is also written for Inner-Healing and Strength, through the Power-of-Intercessory Prayer. There are two additional books also in manual script form entitled; “The Gifts of Administration,” and “Fundraiser for a Growing Church.”
Dr. Evangelist Hood – with the Lord’s direction, will continue ministering to women in the body of Christ, through the power of “Prayer.” This year, April 26th -27, 2019, WWP birth another component entitled; Young Women Who Pray. Our Vision and Mission is to continue, Standing-in-the Gap praying, as servants of God, to do His Divine, and perfect will in the name of Jesus. One of Evangelist Hood’s favorite scripture is:

“He who dwelleth in secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”
